Some of you will have already heard this sad news – I am sorry to have to report that Roz died yesterday of a heart attack. As you know, Ros was our current Vice Chairman and will be greatly missed.
She was also a past Town Mayor and a member of East Herts District Council.
She was very well known in the town and involved with several local organisations including Age Concern of which she was the current President. Ros was a former member of the Friends of Ware Priory committee representing the Priory Trustees.

Clr. Graeme Hill, Ware Town Mayor 2025-26 cycle challenge.
To raise vital funds for his chosen charity, Isabel Hospice, the Mayor of Ware, Councillor Graeme Hill , will be undertaking a virtual cycle challenge – pedalling the equivalent distance to Ware’s twin towns from a static bike mounted on a smart trainer stationed in two Ware supermarkets!
In September the Mayor will cycle the distance from Ware to Wülfrath, live in-store at ASDA Ware. Then, in December, he will tackle the journey to Cormeilles-en-Parisis from Tesco Ware. Together, these two challenges will total an impressive 672.5 miles.
Isabel Hospice provides compassionate care and support to hundreds of Hertfordshire residents each year who are living with life-limiting conditions, helping them to maintain comfort, dignity, and quality of life in their final days.
To support the Mayor’s fundraising efforts, donations can be made via his JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/page/mayorofwarecyclethon
